In 1869 Hermann Vogt founded the Workshop for weaving auxiliary machines of Hermann Vogt in Reutlingen, Germany, with 3-4 employees.

For almost 150 years, the company remained a family business. Five generations of the Vogt family have used their abilities and know-how to drive forward the development of the company and made the company a Tier 1 supplier to Daimler.

Nowadays, mainly high strength elastic parts are produced for many fields such as automobile, aviation and household appliances.

In May 2016 Kaizhong successfully acquired this company. Vogt starts into a new era.
